FAQ
1. How will I know my jewelry has been mailed?
All jewelry is mailed the next business day after an order has been placed (excluding weekends). For example, you order on Monday, your jewelry will be mailed on Tuesday. You order on Friday, your jewelry will be mailed on Monday. You will receive an email once your jewelry has been mailed. This email will have a tracking link so that you can follow your package. Day 1 of your lease will start the day you receive your jewelry. When we receive confirmation from the post office that your jewelry was delivered, we will send an email to you stating the date your rental begins and your rental due date.
Please let us know if you are not receiving emails from us! You should receive an email…..
- Once you register with us. (This includes Log-in information)
- Once you make a purchase. (This includes what you purchased)
- When jewelry is shipped. (This includes a tracking number)
- When jewelry is delivered. (This includes when your “due date” is)
If you do not receive these emails, please let us know at info@imoveritonline.com or use our Contact Us page to send us an email. We are not responsible for emails not received.
2. How will I get my jewelry?
All pieces are shipped to you through United States Postal Service. A majority of pieces are sent Priority Mail. Your jewelry will be sent in either a 6×6x2 box or a 9×6x2 box. Inside will be a return shipping label. Please keep this return label in a safe place. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING EACH PIECE OF JEWELRY IN THE SAME BOX OR BUBBLE ENVELOPE THAT IT ARRIVED IN. WE HAVE PROVIDED A TRACKABLE, PRE-PAID USPS RETURN LABEL FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. IF YOU LOSE THIS PREPAID BUBBLE ENVELOPE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING THE PIECE(S) ON YOUR OWN.
3. How long will it take to receive my jewelry?
All pieces are shipped to you through United States Postal Service via Priority Mail and will arrive approximately between 2-3 business days. We are not responsible for packages that do not arrive within these time frames. Please make sure you allow enough time to receive your jewelry!
4. Is there an upgrade in shipping?
I’m Over It uses the United States Postal Service to delivery your jewelry. All orders are shipped Priority Mail which delivers in 2-3 days. If Express Mail is desired, please let us know.
5. Can I pick the date for a future rental? That doesn’t seem to be an option, but say I wanted to pay now for a rental in 3 months…Can I do that?
Unfortunately, we do not reserve items for future dates. All jewelry is on a “first come, first serve” basis. You can send us an email and we can let you know when the piece(s) you want to lease will be back in stock.
6. When does my rental start?
Your “rental period” will start the day you receive your jewelry. When we receive confirmation from the post office that your jewelry was delivered, we will send an email to you stating the date your rental begins and your rental due date. This will ensure that you are given “full rental time” whether it’s 7, 14 or 30 days. Keep in mind that if you do not want to be charged an automatic renewal fee, then your jewelry needs to be in the mail and postmarked by the due date!
7. How long can I keep the jewelry I leased?
You are authorized to wear the pieces either 7, 14 or 30 days depending on which package you purchased. These days include holidays and weekend (non-business days). If you feel like keeping the piece(s) longer, no problem…we will issue an automatic renewal fee for the jewelry you have leased out. Keep in mind that if you do not want to be charged an automatic renewal fee, then your jewelry needs to be in the mail and postmarked by the due date!
8. What happens if I want to buy one of the pieces I’ve borrowed?
If you find you simply can’t live without a piece, you do have the option of purchasing that item. Call or email us and we’ll take care of the rest!
9. What is Jewelry Outlet?
Our Jewelry Outlet will be up shortly! It is an area where you can purchase gently used jewelry for practically pennies!
10. How will I know if my jewelry was sent successfully back to you?
No news is good news! If there is a delay in receiving the jewelry you have returned then we will contact you!
11. What do I do if I lost the box my jewelry came in?
For your convenience, we have provided a return label for you to return your jewelry. Please keep these in a safe place along with the box. If you lose either, you will then be responsible for returning the jewelry in the exact same way that it arrived to you. That means in a box and with a trackable, USPS Priority Mail return label.
12. The jewelry I received wasn’t what I was expecting….what can I do?
Purchased Items You may return all items purchased at imoveritonline.com within 7 days of the original delivery (with the exception of items purchased in the Shop Outlet section). This means postmarked and in the mail within 7 days of receipt. Returns are up to the discretion of I’m Over It, INC. and are accepted providing the jewelry is unused and returned in its original condition. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping costs and may be charged a restocking fee of $10. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item. All sales are final for items purchased in our Shop Outlet.
Leased Items You may return all items leased at imoveritonline.com within 2 days of the original delivery. This means postmarked and in the mail within 2 days of receipt. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping costs. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item.
13. When I opened the package, the jewelry was broken. What do I do?
We inspect each piece before it is sent to a customer. We also take great care to wrap each piece carefully so it is not damaged during the shipping process. In the event you receive your jewelry and it has been damaged in the mail, please contact us within 1 business days.
13. Do I get charged a late fee for not returning my jewelry back in time?
Automatic Renewal Fees
If the jewelry you leased is not in the mail and postmarked by the “due” date, then you will receive an unavoidable 7-day renewal fee for that particular item. All renewal fees will be in the amount of the 7-day lease for the particular piece of jewelry you leased…even if you leased an item for 14 days, your renewal fee will be in the amount of the 7-day lease fee for that particular piece. These 7-day automatic renewal fees will be assessed until the item you leased is returned. For example: You leased a KJL cocktail ring for 14 days…you received it on Monday, January 1….your lease period is from Monday, January 1st- to Monday, January 15th. You have 2 options now…
(1) Drop the KJL cocktail ring in the mail so that it is post-marked by Monday, January 15th.
(2) Keep it longer than two weeks.
If you decide to send it back, then USPS will let us know because of their handy tracking system. If you decide you love it and want to keep it longer…then we will know to charge you a 7-day renewal fee and your new “due” date is Monday, January, 22th. If you do not mail the item by January 22, you will be assessed another 7-day renewal fee and your new due date is January, 29. You will be assessed a 7-day renewal fee until the item is returned.
15. Oopps! When putting my necklace on it broke. What do I do?
I’m Over It understands the wear and tear on any piece of jewelry. But we do expect you to return each piece in the condition that we have sent it to you. A clasp may break or stones may fall out with any “normal” use. You will not be penalized for this. But, we do reserve the right to use our own discretion when deciding what “normal” wear and tear is. If we do decide that there has been damage to any piece beyond its “normal” wear and tear you will be charged in full on that particular piece of jewelry.
I’m Over It,INC. is NOT responsible for damage to jewelry caused by chemicals which include hairspray, perfumes, lotions or any other outside chemical. The customer is responsible for all costs for damage as a result of chemicals used before, during after jewelry is worn. In other words, please do not use hairspray, lotions or perfume when wearing jewelry leased from I’m Over It, INC. This will tarnish, discolor or etch material on the jewelry.
If you lose the jewelry that you have leased; you will be responsible for paying the purchase price of that particular piece. If you send jewelry back and some pieces are missing (from a set of jewelry) then you will be charged for any missing items from a set. In the event you do lose the jewelry you leased, please email us right away so that you will not receive late fees for that particular piece.
16. Do I have to return the velvet box and the white box that my jewelry came in?
In order to keep costs down and save you money, we have eliminated our velvet jewelry boxes and have ordered smaller more economical mailing boxes. You’ll find these smaller boxes also fit nicely inside your mail box!
17. How do I get in contact with I’m Over It?
The easiest way to reach us is through email. Go to our Contacts Us page to send an email directly to our office. We can also be reached toll free at 1-877-834-3516 Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. We also have extended hours on Saturday 12:00-5:00pm. You can also email us at info@imoveritonline.com. All emails are responded to the same day!
18. What is your Return Policy?
Purchased Items You may return all items purchased at imoveritonline.com within 7 days of the original delivery (with the exception of items purchased in the Shop Outlet section). This means postmarked and in the mail within 7 days of receipt. Returns are up to the discretion of Im Over It, INC. and are accepted providing the jewelry is unused and returned in its original condition. 19. What happens if I damage the jewelry I’ve leased?
I’m Over It understands the wear and tear on any piece of jewelry. But we do expect you to return each piece in the condition that we have sent it to you. 20. Do you ship items to Brazil?
Unfortunately at this time we only ship inside the United States.
